A mysterious underwater structure, discovered near Cuba in 2001, continues to raise questions about the history of human civilization. Canadian researchers recorded symmetrical structures on the seabed that resembled urban planning.

An underwater robot recorded huge, smooth stones resembling processed granite at a depth of 650 meters. If the construction is man-made, it would be at least 6,000 years old, older than the pyramids of Egypt.

However, the depth of 650 meters concerns scientists, as geological estimates suggest that if it were built on land, it would have to be 50,000 years old. Manuel Iturralde of the Cuban Museum of Natural History stated that these are "particularly strange structures that are not geologically explained," but stressed that nature can create shapes that deceive the eye.

After 2005, research stalled, leaving questions unanswered and fueling conspiracy theories about the lost Atlantis and forgotten civilizations.
