Hugh Jackman Unrecognizable as Robin Hood – Watch the Trailer

Hugh Jackman appears unrecognizable in the first trailer for A24's "The Death of Robin Hood." The film, written and directed by Michael Sarnoski, is a dark reinterpretation of the classic myth.

In the trailer, Jackman appears with gray hair and a thick beard. The cast also includes Bill Skarsgård, Murray Bartlett, and Noah Jupe.

The film is expected to be released in 2026.

According to the official synopsis: "Grappling with the shadows of his past after a life of crime and murder, Robin Hood (Jackman) finds himself gravely injured after a battle he believed would be his last. Salvation comes at the hands of a mysterious woman, played by Jodie Comer, offering him one last chance at redemption."

Sarnoski's film is part of A24's programming, which also includes the films "The Moment" by Charli xcx, "How to Make a Killing" by John Patton Ford, "The Undertone" directed by Ian Tuhusen, "The Drama" by Christopher Borgli, and "Mother Mary" written and directed by David Lowery.
