Backlash Against Actress Who Publicly Insulted Eric Dane After His Death

An actress, Laura Ann Tal, has sparked strong reactions for publicly criticizing Eric Dane after his death. Tal, who appeared as an extra on Grey's Anatomy, accused Dane of contributing to his departure from the show, causing outrage on social media.
In posts on the Threads platform, Tal described Dane as "evil," "cowardly," and "rude," while also calling him a "narcissist." She also claimed that there was "abusive" behavior towards her on set and wrote that "I am the reason he was fired from Grey's."
Reactions were immediate, with many users condemning Tal's statements, especially given Dane's recent death. Despite the backlash, Tal insisted on her positions, arguing that no one in the US can sue someone who defames a dead person.
Eric Dane was a main cast member of Grey's Anatomy from 2006 to 2012, playing Dr. Mark Sloan. The actor died on February 19, less than a year after revealing that he was suffering from amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS).
