Brad Pitt Sues Angelina Jolie for $35 Million Over Winery Sale

Brad Pitt has filed a lawsuit against his ex-wife, Angelina Jolie, seeking $35 million in damages amid their ongoing legal battle over Château Miraval. According to new court documents obtained by PEOPLE, Pitt's legal team presented communications regarding the 2021 sale of Jolie's stake in the winery.
An email from November 2023, from Jolie's lawyers, states that Pitt is seeking ongoing damages for alleged harm related to the operation of Miraval. Pitt's legal team argues that Jolie's side proposed a broader non-disparagement clause during the divorce proceedings.
Pitt filed the lawsuit in 2022, claiming that Jolie sold her stake to Tenute del Mondo despite a prior agreement. Jolie claims that Pitt refused to buy her stake because she would not sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) regarding a private flight incident in 2016.
The next hearing is scheduled for December 17. Jolie's attorney, Paul Murphy, stated that Pitt's lawsuit is an attempt to harass and control Angelina Jolie.
