Catherine Zeta-Jones: 'Having 4 Homes Is Not Excessive'

Catherine Zeta-Jones doesn't consider it 'excessive' to own four homes, which she shares with her husband, Michael Douglas.
The 55-year-old actress gave an interview to the “Sunday Times”, in which it was noted that the couple owns two residences in New York, one in Canada, and one in Spain.
The actress stated: 'I know it sounds like a lot, and I like to surround myself with beauty, but it's not excessive, it's very comfortable.'
The actress explained that she doesn't hesitate to spend money on items that aren't practical. 'I go to all the vintage stores in Paris,' she said, adding: 'I buy things that you'll probably never wear, like a wonderful cape, wonderful pieces. Right now, I love classic Yves Saint Laurent. I get excited about evening dresses.'
Regarding everyday clothes, she added: 'For me, a jean is a jean. Spend $200 on a white t-shirt? No. But when it comes to tailoring, wonderful embroidery, and art… I love the fashion of the theater.'
