Diddy: Request to Expedite Appeal Granted

Rapper Diddy's request to expedite the appeal of his prison sentence has been granted.

Sean Combs, sentenced to 50 months in prison for transporting women for prostitution, was recently transferred to a low-security correctional facility in New Jersey.

A federal appeals judge approved his legal team's request to expedite the appeal hearing on November 3. This means there is a possibility of his release earlier than the scheduled date of May 8, 2028.

Additionally, he was fined $500,000 and given five years of probation after his release.

Combs has the opportunity to reduce his sentence through exemplary behavior and completion of addiction and anger management programs.

Judge Beth Robinson set a specific timeline for the appeal hearing, with an oral hearing in April 2026.
