Diddy Trial: Jurors Deliberate on Verdict

Jurors have begun deliberations in the trial of Sean 'Diddy' Combs, who faces serious charges. The 55-year-old music producer and businessman is accused of five felony counts that could result in a life sentence if convicted.

During the trial, singer Cassandra 'Cassie' Ventura and a woman with the pseudonym 'Jane' testified that they were forced to participate in sexual acts. These acts allegedly took place under emotional and physical duress.

Jurors also viewed security camera footage showing Combs attacking Ventura in a hotel in 2016. The defense admitted to incidents of violence but denied coercion, arguing that the acts were consensual.

Combs has been held in a federal correctional facility in Brooklyn since September 2024. The charges include racketeering, sex trafficking, and transportation for sexual exploitation.

The selection of the 12 jurors took place in May, with the jurors coming from various areas of New York.
