Ellen DeGeneres: Moving to the UK Because of Trump

Ellen DeGeneres revealed that her decision to move to the United Kingdom with her wife, Portia de Rossi, was due to Donald Trump.

In a discussion with journalist Richard Bacon, DeGeneres confirmed that the relocation took place after Trump's re-election in November.

After the end of her show in 2022 and her tour 'Ellen’s Last Stand… Up', the couple bought a house in the Cotswolds area.

DeGeneres stated that the area is beautiful and that she enjoys the simple way of life, the kindness of the people, and the respect for animals.

She also expressed her desire for a society where everyone can be themselves and accept the differences of others.
