Meghan Markle is returning to acting after an eight-year hiatus. The Duchess of Sussex will appear in the movie 'Close Personal Friends', where she will play herself.

According to reports, the Amazon MGM Studios production is filming in Pasadena, California. Meghan Markle retired from acting in 2017, before her engagement to Prince Harry, to focus on her royal duties.

Her last appearance was in the series 'Suits' in April 2018, a month before her wedding. Since 2020, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have stepped down from their royal duties and moved to California.
