The 28-year-old actress explained that as a teenager, she tried to hide her body, but her role in the series helped her gain confidence. Sweeney stated in an interview with Glamour in 2023 that she seriously considered getting a breast reduction when she turned 18, but her mother dissuaded her.

The actress emphasized that her participation in the series changed her perspective on her body, as through her role as Cassie, she began to understand that it is a strength to feel confident.
