Jessica Chastain to Star in Mystery Thriller 'Heartland'

Academy Award-winning actress Jessica Chastain will star in the Netflix mystery thriller 'Heartland'. She will be joined by Academy Award nominee John Hawkes and country singer Carter Faith, who is making her acting debut.

The film, written and directed by Shana Feste, follows Misty Jones (Chastain), a former country star investigating the disappearance of her niece in Nashville.

The film is produced by Peter Chernin and Jenno Topping for Chernin Entertainment, Jason Owen for Sandbox Studios, and Randall Poster.

Jessica Chastain recently received her own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and on September 26, 'The Savant' will premiere on Apple TV+, where she plays a secret agent.
