Rapper Ice-T discussed the deaths of his friends Coolio and Michael K. Williams, caused by fentanyl overdoses, in a new documentary.

In A&E's “Fame and Fentanyl,” Ice-T narrates the loss of his friends and attempts to raise public awareness about the dangers of fentanyl.

“When they hit Coolio and Mike, that was the final blow,” Ice-T told Entertainment Weekly. “There are guys out there adding this concoction to various drugs, and people have started dying.”

Referring to Coolio, Ice-T said he knew the rapper used drugs for recreational purposes, but stressed that “entertainment is a game, but this is no longer a game.”

Ice-T expressed his sadness over the death of Michael K. Williams, saying they had planned to collaborate. He hopes the documentary will inform people about the dangers of fentanyl.
