Chloƫ Malle Named New Head of American Vogue

Chloƫ Malle, 39, has been announced as the new head of American Vogue, succeeding Anna Wintour. Wintour stepped down from her position last June after 37 years.
Malle, daughter of actress Candice Bergen and director Louis Malle, has worked for the magazine for 14 years, rising to the position of editor of Vogue.com and host of the podcast The Run Through.
Wintour will remain global director of content for Vogue and global chief content officer of CondƩ Nast, overseeing titles such as GQ, Architectural Digest, Vanity Fair, Bon AppƩtit, and Teen Vogue.
Malle expressed her enthusiasm for her new position, while Wintour praised her ability to combine Vogue's history with its future.
Chloƫ Malle began her career as a freelance writer for The New York Times Style before joining Vogue in 2011.
