Miss Universe: 38-year-old Australian Challenges Age Limits

Kristina Ditze, 38, is set to make history in the Miss Universe Australia competition. As the oldest contestant, Ditze aims to follow in the footsteps of Jennifer Hawkins, Miss Universe Australia 2004.

Ditze, a model and fashion designer, emphasizes the importance of fitness and her experience in the industry. "I've taken care of myself and I've been in the modeling industry for quite some time," she told the Herald Sun.

Until 2023, the age limit for contestants was 18-28 years old. The new regulations now allow women over 28, as well as married, divorced women and mothers to participate.
