Denzel Washington: 'I don't care about being canceled'

Denzel Washington, speaking to Complex News about his new film Highest 2 Lowest, expressed his indifference to cancel culture.

'I don't care who follows who. You can't lead and follow at the same time. I don't follow anyone, I follow the spirit of God,' the actor stated.

Referring to the Oscars, he said: 'There have been times when I won without deserving it and other times when I didn't win even though I deserved it. Man gives the awards, God gives the reward. At the end of the day, the Oscars won't do me any good.'
