Alan Cumming Receives Star on Hollywood Walk of Fame

Actor Alan Cumming was honored with the 2,832nd star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in Los Angeles.
The Emmy and Tony Award-winning Scottish actor is known for his roles in films such as Circle of Friends, GoldenEye, Emma, Romy and Michele's High School Reunion, Spice World, Eyes Wide Shut, and X2: X-Men United.
Attendees at the ceremony included Brian Cox and Saffron Burrows, as well as Monica Lewinsky and Dylan Mulvaney.
Cumming spoke about the importance of theatre in his career and thanked an acting professor who had discouraged him in the past.
In December, Cumming was appointed host of the BAFTA awards ceremony, to be held on February 22 in London. He is also the artistic director of the Pitlochry Festival Theatre in Scotland.
