Kevin Costner's legal team has requested the dismissal of a lawsuit filed by Deven LaBella, who accuses him of an alleged non-consensual rape scene during the filming of 'Horizon: An American Saga - Chapter 2'.

According to 'TMZ', Costner claims that LaBella altered her version of events in her latest deposition, revealing that the stunt coordinator, Wade Allen, explained the scene to her in advance.

Costner's lawyers argue that this new element shows that LaBella is lying in her accusations against him. They also claim that the stuntwoman had previously admitted to understanding the basic elements of the scene.

LaBella's lawyer countered that her claims have not changed since May 2023, when she reported the incident to the production. In the new documents, LaBella complained that she had her period during filming and her underwear was exposed when her clothing was torn by co-star Roger Ivans.

Costner's lawyer, Marty Singer, stated that LaBella's claims are baseless and ridiculous, and that there are 12 witnesses who confirm that her claims are fabricated.
