Richard Gere returns in the romantic drama 'Asymmetry'

Richard Gere will star in the romantic drama 'Asymmetry', directed by Edward Zwick, alongside Diana Silvers. The film is based on the novel of the same name by Lisa Halliday.

'Asymmetry' tells the story of Alice, an assistant at a New York publishing house, and Ezra (Richard Gere), a famous 70-year-old writer. Their meeting in Central Park leads to a life-changing relationship.

Edward Zwick stated he was fascinated by the book, emphasizing that it is about two people discovering that asymmetry can be love.

The film is produced by Bedford Falls Company, Rainmaker Films, and FilmNation Entertainment, which will present the film at Cannes.
