James Cameron Becomes a Billionaire, According to Forbes

Director James Cameron has joined the billionaire club, according to Forbes. The 71-year-old Canadian director, screenwriter, and producer's net worth is estimated at $1.1 billion USD.
Cameron is the fifth director to join this list, alongside George Lucas, Steven Spielberg, Peter Jackson, and Tyler Perry. Forbes emphasizes that he is the only director who has amassed his fortune primarily from the earnings of his films, which have grossed nearly $9 billion USD at the global box office.
In addition to investments in real estate and environmental organizations, Forbes attributes his greatest financial strength to income from cinema, creative control of his films, salaries, profits, income from theme park and game licenses, and the value of shares in his company, Lightstorm Entertainment.
The announcement comes shortly before the premiere of the film 'Avatar: Fire and Ash', which is estimated to bring him at least $200 million USD, if predictions are confirmed.
