Werner Herzog Changes Course – Opens Instagram Account

Director Werner Herzog, known for his detachment from social media, has created an Instagram account.

This move comes as a surprise, given that Herzog had described social media as "a vast, naked attack of idiocy."

In a video he posted, the German creator stated that he decided to share his work with the public via Instagram.

Herzog had previously explored the impact of the Internet on humanity in his 2016 documentary, Lo and Behold, Reveries of the Connected World.
