Ozzy Osbourne: Black Sabbath Legend Dies at 76

Rock legend Ozzy Osbourne has passed away at the age of 76. The news comes just weeks after the Black Sabbath star made his final stage appearance with his bandmates at Villa Park in Birmingham.
According to a statement from his family, Osbourne died 'surrounded by love.' The family has requested respect for their privacy.
Born John Michael Osbourne in Birmingham in 1948, Ozzy became known as the 'Prince of Darkness'. He started his career with Black Sabbath, achieving tremendous success with songs like 'Paranoid'. He later pursued a successful solo career, creating hits like 'Crazy Train'.
In 2001, Osbourne appeared on the reality show 'The Osbournes' with his family, gaining a new audience. In 2006, he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame with Black Sabbath.
In recent years, Ozzy faced health problems, including a spinal injury and a diagnosis of Parkinson's disease.
