Runyon began her career in the 1980s, appearing in various films and television shows. In addition to 'Ghostbusters,' she also appeared in the television series 'Charles in Charge,' 'Quantum Leap,' and 'Beverly Hills, 90210.'
Before retiring from acting in 2014, Runyon pursued a career as a teacher. She was married to Todd Corman and had two sons.
Reports indicate that Runyon passed away after a brief battle with cancer.
