Reggae Legend Jimmy Cliff Dies at 81

Reggae legend Jimmy Cliff has died at the age of 81. His wife, Latifa Chambers, announced his death via Instagram.
Born James Chambers in 1948 in Jamaica, Cliff began his music career at a young age. He became known for hits such as "Wonderful World, Beautiful People" and "Vietnam". In 1972, he starred in the film "The Harder They Come", which contributed to the global spread of reggae.
During his career, Cliff released dozens of albums and won two Grammy Awards. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2010.
His wife, Latifa Chambers, wrote: "It is with deep sadness that I share that my husband, Jimmy Cliff, has passed away."
