Sylvester Stallone: Parents' Absence at the Oscars

Sylvester Stallone has expressed his regret over his parents' absence at the Academy Awards ceremony where he was honored for the film "Rocky."
In a recent interview, Stallone stated that his parents' absence was an "explosive but sad moment." He explained that he desired the presence of the people he loved, even those who had rejected him.
Referring to his parents, he emphasized the importance of parental wisdom in shaping children. "Parents need to get wiser. Kids are like clay... You mold them, you carve them, or you drop them off the table and they're not the same shape anymore."
In the 2023 documentary "Sly," Stallone also referred to the difficult family conditions he experienced during his childhood, including being born with partial facial paralysis and the absence of his parents.
