Claudia Schiffer has expressed her sorrow over the death of Valentino Garavani, who passed away on Monday, January 19th, at the age of 93. The supermodel highlighted their special relationship, emphasizing that having Valentino himself create her wedding dress was one of the most honorable moments of her life.

In an Instagram post, Schiffer shared photos of moments with Valentino, describing him as “the definition of true legends.” She also mentioned favorite campaigns in Rome and their vacations in Madeira, Ibiza, and Saint-Tropez.

Schiffer emphasized that her wedding dress, a creation of the Valentino fashion house, holds a special place in her home and serves as a permanent reminder of the designer's personality. "Having him create my wedding dress was one of the greatest honors of my life," she wrote.
