Terence Stamp: Superman's 'General Zod' Passes Away

English actor Terence Stamp, best known for his role as 'General Zod' in the Superman films Superman and Superman II, has died at the age of 87.
His family announced his death, stating that he passed away on Sunday morning. Stamp was an Oscar nominee and starred in films such as Pier Paolo Pasolini's 'Theorem' and 'The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert'.
Born in East London in 1938, in addition to his film career, he had relationships with Julie Christie and Jean Shrimpton.
After a break from the limelight, he returned to the role of General Zod. He also appeared in the films 'Valkyrie' and 'The Adjustment Bureau'.
