3 Doors Down Singer Brad Arnold Dies After Cancer Battle

Brad Arnold, founding member and lead singer of 3 Doors Down, has died at the age of 47 after a battle with cancer, the band announced on February 7th.
According to the statement, Arnold passed away peacefully surrounded by his wife Jennifer and his family. He had announced in May 2025 that he had been diagnosed with renal cell carcinoma, which led to the cancellation of the band's summer tour.
Arnold founded 3 Doors Down in 1996 along with guitarist Matt Roberts and bassist Todd Harrell. The band's biggest hit was the song "Kryptonite" from 2000, which was nominated for a Grammy Award and written by Arnold when he was 15 years old.
The band bid farewell to him with a statement, mentioning his kindness, humor, and generosity.
