Brit Rock Scene Mourns: Stone Roses' Mani Dies at 63

The Brit rock scene is mourning the death of Gary 'Mani' Mounfield of The Stone Roses, who passed away at the age of 63. The news of his death has caused grief, with the Gallagher brothers of Oasis expressing their devastation.

Greg Mounfield, Mani's brother, announced the sad news via social media, stating that Mani passed away at his home in Manchester after a health issue. He had lost his wife, Imelda, two years prior.

Mani was born in Manchester on November 16, 1962. He joined The Stone Roses in the early 1980s, and the band released their first album in 1989. After The Stone Roses disbanded in 1996, he joined Primal Scream.

Various musicians have paid tribute to Mani, including Ian Brown and Liam Gallagher.
