Global Fashion Mourns: Giorgio Armani Passes Away

Giorgio Armani, the legendary Italian designer, has died today at the age of 91.

The renowned Italian designer, who had just celebrated his 91st birthday in July, passed away today surrounded by his family and his long-time partner, Leo Dell’Orco.

The news came as a surprise, as Armani was working tirelessly until the end. Just a few days ago, he had announced with emotion the purchase of the historic venue 'La Capannina,' where he met Sergio Galeotti, the great love and partner of his life, in the 1960s. He had also personally approved the creations for the collection to be presented in September, as part of the 50th anniversary show.
