Hiddleston mentioned that both he and his sister recently welcomed new members into their families, describing the experience as "the most beautiful, profound, life-shifting thing".

Tom Hiddleston and Zawe Ashton met in 2019 during their collaboration on the play "Betrayal". In March 2022, Hiddleston made a rare statement about their relationship to the Los Angeles Times.

The couple welcomed their first child in June 2021.
