Jack Osbourne, son of the legendary Ozzy Osbourne, stated that his father's death was a surprise to the family, despite his known health issues.

Ozzy Osbourne, the iconic frontman of Black Sabbath, passed away in July at the age of 76. Jack Osbourne, speaking on the podcast 'Hate to Break it to Ya', mentioned that the family expected his death to come later.

He also referred to Ozzy's last concert with Black Sabbath, shortly before his death, emphasizing his father's enthusiasm for that moment. Jack described Ozzy's last day as peaceful, saying it was not dramatic.

'He was up, doing his thing, had breakfast and that was it,' he said. He also recalled that Ozzy had mentioned he was thinking of cutting his hair, as he had retired from the rock scene.

'Obviously everyone knew he was sick. But we didn't expect it to happen as quickly as it did. I think he had completed his cycle,' Jack confessed.
