Can Yaman: Statements After Drug Arrest in Turkey

Actor Can Yaman has made statements following his arrest in Istanbul as part of a drug investigation. Yaman was released the next day and returned to Italy, where he resides.

According to Turkish media reports, the investigation was initiated by the Istanbul prosecutor's office and was based on information alleging drug use by Can Yaman. As part of the operation, police raided nightclubs and made arrests.

Can Yaman and actress Selen Görgüzel were among those arrested. After his deposition and the necessary examinations, authorities allowed the actor to leave Turkey.

Through Italian social media, Yaman expressed his displeasure with the way his case was presented by the Turkish press, emphasizing that if there was any truth to the allegations, he would not have been released so quickly.
