Jason Momoa Shaves Beard After Six Years

Actor Jason Momoa shaved his beard for the first time in six years in a video posted on Instagram on Wednesday, July 30. The move was made to raise awareness about single-use plastics.
The 45-year-old actor, known for his role as Aquaman, founded Mananalu, a company that produces water in aluminum bottles, with the aim of reducing the use of plastics. In the video, Momoa explains that he is working with Getboomerangwater to create a closed-loop system where aluminum bottles are disinfected and reused.
"Haven't shaved in six years, here we go again," he wrote in the caption of his post. The actor added that his goal is to stop the use of single-use plastics.
"This is the future and we're starting in Hawaii. Let's get rid of single-use plastic. For our kids and for our planet. With all my love, J," Momoa concluded.
