Brad Pitt Mourns the Loss of His Mother

Brad Pitt and his family are in deep mourning following the death of his mother, Jane Etta Pitt, at the age of 84.

The news of her passing was confirmed by her granddaughter and the actor's niece, Sydney Pitt, through a social media post.

Sydney, daughter of the actor's younger brother, Doug Pitt, bid farewell to her grandmother, writing: "We weren't ready to say goodbye so soon..."

Jane Etta Pitt worked as a family counselor and married William Alvin Pitt in 1962. A year later, Brad Pitt was born (1963), followed by their son Doug (1966) and their daughter Julie (1969).
