Vera Wang: Appears in Top at 76

Vera Wang, at 76, appeared in a daring top at the CFDA Fashion Awards on Monday, November 3rd. The designer chose a black bralette and a long white skirt, combining elegance and boldness.

The top featured long sleeves with rich cuffs, while the look was completed with black sunglasses and subtle makeup. The event honored fashion personalities such as Jerry Lorenzo, Cynthia Rowley, and Donatella Versace, while A$AP Rocky received the Fashion Icon award.

Vera Wang has been honored in the past at the CFDA with the Womenswear Designer of the Year (2005) and Geoffrey Beene Lifetime Achievement Award (2013). She also participates on the organization's board of directors.

The designer had mentioned to «People» magazine that she was hesitant to organize a party for her 76th birthday, and stated that she intends to continue working with passion.
