Verónica Echegui: Netflix Actress Dies at 42

Spanish actress Verónica Echegui, known for her work on Netflix, has died at the age of 42 in Madrid after battling cancer. She was hospitalized at the 12 de Octubre Hospital.

Echegui had collaborated with Antonio Banderas. Her death has shocked the Spanish film industry.

Antonio Banderas and Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez expressed their condolences.

The actress rose to fame with the film My Name Is Juani in 2006.

Her latest series, Love You to Death, was released in February by Atresplayer and acquired by Apple TV+.
