Jeanette Kapuya: I Refused to Rehearse with Julio Iglesias in a Hotel

Singer Jeanette Kapuya revealed that she was not surprised by the sexual assault allegations against Julio Iglesias. She stated that Iglesias had asked her to rehearse in a hotel, a proposal she rejected.
In an interview on "Studio 4," Kapuya mentioned that Iglesias suggested they rehearse in a hotel when he was not particularly well-known to the public. With experience since she was eight years old in the industry, she refused and insisted on rehearsing in a studio.
The allegations against Julio Iglesias concern sexual assault and human trafficking, and have been filed with the Audiencia Nacional of Spain. Two former employees, a housekeeper and a physical therapist, claim they suffered harassment and abuse at his residences in the Caribbean in 2021.
Kapuya stated that many people misuse power, and that artists should be "clean" people, but not everyone is like that. She was not angry with Iglesias's proposal, as she was used to refusing such proposals.
