Emmanouil Karalis: Silver in Toruń, "I Want to Bring More Medals"

Emmanouil Karalis returned to Greece with the silver medal from the World Indoor Athletics Championships in Toruń, stating he was happy and proud of his achievement.

Upon the arrival of the Greek delegation at Athens International Airport "Eleftherios Venizelos", Karalis spoke about his duels with Mondo Duplantis, emphasizing that they make him feel special.

"I am very happy and very tired. It was very beautiful, congratulations to all the athletes. I may have taken the only medal, but everyone gave their best effort," he said.

Regarding the future, Karalis stated: "Definitely holidays, I want to rest, recharge my batteries and start preparing for the outdoor season in a month from now."

Furthermore, he emphasized his desire to continue bringing medals for Greece and to be an inspiration for young children. He also referred to his relationship with Duplantis, describing it as a relationship of love and fair play.

Finally, he thanked his mother and sister for their support.
