Melissa Anastasakis: Personal Best in 5000m in Madrid

Melissa Anastasakis recorded a personal best in the 5000m and finished 7th at the European Team Championships in Madrid. Anastasakis finished in 16.21.01, improving her previous record (16.30.27).

At the same championship, Babis Lagos finished 15th in the 800m with a time of 1.48.79, while Giorgos Franks took 9th place in the 400m with 45.46.

In the other events, Giannis Korakidis was 11th in the hammer throw and Maria Rafailidou 14th in the shot put. Alexia Papavasileiou finished 16th in the 400m.
