Antetokounmpo and Sloukas to join Greek National Team for FIBA EuroBasket 2025 in Cyprus

Giannis Antetokounmpo and Kostas Sloukas will be part of the Greek National Team's roster for the FIBA EuroBasket 2025 games, which will be held at the Spyros Kyprianou Athletic Center from August 28 to September 4.

According to APE – MPE (Athens News Agency), the presence of the two basketball players is expected to significantly strengthen the team's efforts.

Giannis Antetokounmpo, after the 2023 World Cup and the 2024 Olympic Games, will participate in another major tournament with the Greek National Team. Kostas Sloukas will wear the national team jersey for the first time since EuroBasket 2022.

Additionally, Tyler Dorsey is expected to return to the Greek National Team, replacing Thomas Walkup.

Tickets for the Greek National Team's games are nearing sell-out, with sold-out matches against Spain and Italy. Greece will face Italy (28/08, 21:30), Cyprus (30/08, 18:15), Georgia (31/08, 15:00), Bosnia and Herzegovina (02/09, 15:00) and Spain (04/09, 21:30) in succession.
