Ataman: 'Great disappointment for us...' after loss to Hapoel

Panathinaikos coach Ergin Ataman did not give a flash interview after the 92-88 loss to Hapoel Tel Aviv in Sofia, for the 35th round of the Euroleague. He only attended the press conference.

Ataman stated that his team played well for three quarters, but failed to 'lock' the victory. 'We missed the opportunity to win the game easily. For 35 minutes we controlled the game... Great disappointment for us, because we played excellent basketball for three periods,' he said.

Panathinaikos is in 7th place in the Euroleague, making entry into the top six more difficult.
