D. Itoudis: "I believe Panathinaikos will be in the playoffs"

Dimitris Itoudis expressed his belief that Panathinaikos will qualify for the playoffs after Hapoel Tel Aviv's 92-88 victory over Panathinaikos. In his statements, the Greek coach emphasized the importance of the victory for his team.

"The players... the team, congratulations to everyone. We believed it from the first moment and we took the victory against a fantastic team. We were behind by 11-12 points, we were losing by 9 points at the end, but we managed because we believed it," Itoudis initially stated.

He then added: "I would like to congratulate the team for this important victory. We knew what was at stake, and both teams wanted the victory. It was very important to stay focused and believe, because Panathinaikos with their quality and experience took a double-digit lead in the third quarter, reaching +12. Our team continued to believe, we found good opportunities to shoot or dunk and open up their defense. We did an excellent job against one of the most talented players in the league, Nunn."

Itoudis also referred to Grant's absence from Panathinaikos, emphasizing his importance to the team.
