Lithuania Dominates Great Britain in Eurobasket 2025 Opener

Lithuania started strong in Group B of Eurobasket 2025, defeating Great Britain with an impressive score of 94-70. Jonas Valanciunas led the way for the Lithuanians.

Rimas Kurtinaitis' team controlled most of the game, with Valanciunas scoring 18 points and grabbing 9 rebounds. Azuolas Tubelis (17 points), Rokas Jokubaitis and Margiris Normantas (12 points each), and Arnas Velicka (10 points) also contributed significantly.

The Lithuanians led for 37 minutes, extending their lead to as many as 25 points. For Great Britain, Aquasi Yeboah was the top scorer, while Tarik Phillip and Myles Hesson each scored 10 points.

Lithuania's next game is a top-of-the-table clash with Montenegro, while Great Britain will face Finland.
