Euroleague: Lonnie Walker to Maccabi Tel Aviv with €10M Contract

Lonnie Walker will continue his career in the Euroleague, having agreed to a three-year deal with Maccabi Tel Aviv. According to Marc Stein, Maccabi offered the player a contract worth €10 million.
The 26-year-old guard, who played for Žalgiris last season and finished the season with the Sixers, averaged 13.6 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 1.8 assists in 19 Euroleague games. Real Madrid had also shown interest in Walker.
Walker has an NBA buyout clause until August 1 and is expected to become one of the highest-paid players in the Euroleague.
