Euroleague: Herbert Sacked by Bayern Munich

Gordon Herbert is no longer the coach of Bayern Munich, following a heavy defeat by Monaco. The 66-year-old coach was dismissed after a meeting with the club's management, due to the team's negative results.

Bayern's sporting director, Dragan Tarlać, thanked Herbert for his contribution, especially last season, but stressed that the change was necessary.

Herbert had been on Bayern's bench for a year and a half.
