EuroBasket 2025: Germany Scores Century Against Sweden

Germany secured a «2 out of 2» record in the EuroBasket 2025 group stage, defeating Sweden with 100-76 in Tampere, Finland. The world champions dominated easily, despite the absence of head coach Alex Moumbru due to health issues.

The Germans, having already defeated Montenegro with 106-76, left no room for doubt for the Swedes, while also resting their key players. Dennis Schroder led the way with 23 points, 7 rebounds, and 3 assists, while Franz Wagner added 21 points. For Sweden, Melvin Pantzar scored 18 points.
