Belgium defeated Iceland 71-64 in EuroBasket 2025, securing their first win in Group D, hosted in Katowice. Mário Gjergja's team overturned the score in the last five minutes.

Despite trailing for 35 minutes and facing a 62-55 deficit shortly before the end, Belgium mounted an impressive 2-16 run to secure the victory.

Emanuel Lecomte led Belgium with 16 points, while Mark Múema contributed 13. For Iceland, Tryggvi Hlinason scored 20 points.
