Francisco: 'Racism should not be tolerated'

Sylvain Francisco has denounced the racist comments he received after the France-Slovenia game at Eurobasket. The French guard, through a post on social media, stressed that racist comments are not acceptable, regardless of whether some were bothered by his choice to score in the final seconds of the game.

Francisco stated that he received racist slurs, was called the 'n' word, compared to an animal, and slavery terminology was used. The French Basketball Federation condemned the incident.
