Why Holmes Wore Glasses in Panathinaikos vs. Kolossos Game

Rishon Holmes of Panathinaikos wore protective glasses in the game against Kolossos Rhodes on Sunday (15/2). The American center started as a starter, with coach Ataman giving him the opportunity.

Holmes suffered a serious eye injury on December 8, 2021, while playing in the NBA with the Sacramento Kings. Mo Bamba of the Orlando Magic caused him a rupture, forcing him to undergo surgery. He returned wearing glasses, stating at the time that he would never play without them again.

The reason he wore glasses again is to protect himself from concussions, bruises and bleeding, due to blows he has received in the past.
