Dimitris Itoudis spoke about his collaboration with Nigel Hayes-Davis, the new Panathinaikos player, from their time together at Fenerbahce.

In an episode of the EuroLeague's 'My Five Signature Players' series, Itoudis described Hayes-Davis as a player with a special work ethic. 'Nigel was at his worst in Barcelona. There weren't many offers for him. And when I called him, he sounded a little depressed,' Itoudis said.

Itoudis added: 'I'll give you a story about Nigel. I had forgotten something in the office. It was midnight. Actually, it was 11:30 PM. I go into my office and I hear the ball bouncing in the gym. It was Nigel, who had put on his... Beethoven and was shooting extra, because practice was in the afternoon and he had stayed for extra. I am very proud and very happy that I worked with him.'

Hayes-Davis ended up at Panathinaikos, despite interest from Hapoel Tel Aviv, due to uncertainty about Itoudis' future with the team.
